Job summary

Rosenbauer America is seeking a Finish Assembler I to install final components on fire apparatus, following specifications and blueprints. You will fabricate and install items such as mud flaps, shelving, slide trays, and hose bed dividers in a timely, quality-conscious manner.

You must read and interpret specs, operate basic tools, and work with equipment like brake presses and plasma cutters while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reads and interprets safety rules, manuals and specs.
• Reads specs and blueprints to build fire apparatus.

Responsibilities

• Install mud flaps, shelves, slide trays, hose bed dividers and other final parts.
• Read specs and blueprints to build fire apparatus.
• Use basic hand tools to install final parts to the fire apparatus.
• Operate brake press, plasma cutter, DA sander and other equipment.
• Support department needs as required by management.
