Job summary

Leading Technology Composites, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift painter to prepare surfaces, mix and apply coatings, and ensure quality for painted products at our Wichita, KS facility. The role involves operating spray equipment, masking, sanding, and maintaining a clean work area in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have prior painting experience, knowledge of tools and techniques, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime and weekend flexibility are required.

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM & Friday 6AM-10AM

Location: 2700 S Custer Ave, Wichita, KS 67217

Responsibilities

• Mix ratios for a variety of paint
• Operate, use and clean a spray gun, HVLP and pressure pot
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking
• Apply paint using various techniques, including spray guns, and brushes
• Ensure that all painted products meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Assist with other tasks as needed
• At times, work in temperatures over 90 degrees
• Fast-paced work environment
• Dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental laws and company regulations

Requirements

• Prior experience in painting or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of painting techniques and tools
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Pay is based on prior related experience in this field - paid hourly
