Job summary

Kelley Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Parts Department Manager to lead the Parts Department, drive profitability, and coordinate purchasing, inventory, and staffing. You will work with other departments to ensure timely availability of parts for internal jobs and customer needs.

The role requires supervision experience, strong communication, and solid computer skills; a valid in-state license is required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or the equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
  • Excellent communication and managerial skills.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Valid in-state driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast goals and objectives for the Parts Department.
  • Direct and supervise all department personnel.
  • Develop and administer an annual operating budget for the Parts Department.
  • Direct outside parts and counter sales efforts.
  • Enforce safety requirements, including forklift training and OSHA compliance.
  • Coordinate a prompt, efficient flow of paperwork and purchase orders.
  • Assist in the collection of past-due accounts.
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary by Management.
