Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, receiving, and storing parts.
• Oversee and maintain an organized parts storage system to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
• Collaborate with the service team to identify parts needs and ensure timely availability.
• Procure parts from vendors, negotiate pricing, and build relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
• Handle parts ordering and returns, ensuring that proper procedures are followed.
• Assist in creating and maintaining part pricing structures, managing parts sales, and processing customer orders.
• Monitor parts usage, identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and implement strategies to optimize stock levels.
• Supervise parts staff, providing training, guidance, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in parts handling and storage.
• Work closely with the service department to ensure seamless coordination of parts needs and timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on parts inventory and sales.
