Job summary

Westfield Electroplating Company, Inc. is seeking a Parts Masker/Laborer to support daily masking and labor tasks in our Masking Department.

You will unpack parts, clean and inspect for damage, and apply paints, tape, or silicone plugs prior to plating. The position requires attention to detail and dependable work habits.

Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening; benefits include health and dental insurance, 401K, vacation and more.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with general labor in manufacturing is preferred.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and stay organized.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and travelers.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Unpack customer parts and prepare them for masking.
• Clean parts and inspect for damage.
• Apply paints, tape, or silicone plugs before plating.
• Follow daily use of solvents and thinners.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist other departments when needed.
