Westfield Electroplating Company, Inc. is seeking a Parts Masker/Laborer to support daily masking and labor tasks in our Masking Department.

You will unpack parts, clean and inspect for damage, and apply paints, tape, or silicone plugs prior to plating. The position requires attention to detail and dependable work habits.

Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening; benefits include health and dental insurance, 401K, vacation and more.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with general labor in manufacturing is preferred.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and stay organized.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and travelers.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Job description

Westfield Electroplating Company is seeking an Parts Masker/Laborer to support the day-to-day general laborer functions within our Masking Department.

This job entails unpacking customer parts, cleaning various parts and inspecting for damage. It also requires applying paints, tape or silicone pugs to customer parts prior to plating. The use of solvents and thinners occurs daily.

A successful candidate must demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, work independently without constant supervision, possess good oral and written communication skills, along with a strong desire to learn. Applicants must be flexible and adjust their workload schedule to meet the department’s demands. This candidate must have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment with production staff, management and other maskers.

Pay Rate and Benefits:

Starting Rate: $18.00-$20.00

Health Insurance Single $10.50 / per week Family $25.20. / per week Copayment $10.00

Dental Insurance

Single $4.22 / per week Family $12.00 / per week
