Job summary

Truck Country is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to build and lead the Parts Department at our newest Milwaukee-area location. You will oversee daily operations, drive inventory control, and collaborate with Service and customers to ensure timely availability of parts.

The role emphasizes leadership, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and cross-department collaboration to support profitability and customer satisfaction at a growing dealership network.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pricing, margins, and department performance.
• Maintain inventory controls and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and manage the Parts Department budget and sales goals.
• Interview, hire, train, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
• Work directly with customers to address concerns and provide solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and service.
• Help establish a positive, collaborative team culture.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Parts Manager to help build and lead our Parts Department at our newest location.

As Parts Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department while working closely with Service and customers to ensure the right parts are available when they’re needed. This role will have a direct impact on inventory, profitability, customer satisfaction, and the overall success of the new location.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, supervise, and develop Parts Department employees.

• Partner closely with the Service Department to maintain appropriate inventory levels and support timely repairs.

• Monitor pricing, margins, inventory levels, and department performance.
• Maintain inventory controls and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and manage the Parts Department budget and sales goals.
• Interview, hire, train, schedule, and provide ongoing performance feedback to team members.
• Work directly with customers to address concerns and provide solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and customer service.
• Help establish a positive, collaborative team culture as we build out this new location.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous parts management or related leadership experience.
• Experience supervising and developing employees.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, purchasing, and pricing.
• Ability to analyze information and make sound business decisions.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with Service and other departments.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with inventory, order processing, and Microsoft Office systems preferred.
