Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking a full-time, experienced Parts Manager to optimize parts inventory and profitability. You will oversee purchasing, pricing, merchandising and staff utilization while maintaining vendor relations and customer service.

Responsibilities include forecasting goals, balancing inventory across service, body shop, wholesale and DIY channels, setting stock levels, and ensuring timely processing of paperwork. Strong leadership and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials; write reports and correspondence.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Forecast department goals and strive to meet them.
• Maintain balanced inventory for service, body shop, wholesale and DIY.
• Establish individual parts inventory levels and balance for turnover.
• Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence.
• Ensure parts are tagged for full credit from the factory.
• Supervise stock order procedures.
• Sets and enforces policy on special parts ordering; orders ≥65% of all.
• Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory to maintain profits.
• Develop wholesale parts program to increase profitability.
• Coordinate prompt flow of paperwork and shipping/receiving.
• Lead department meetings and assess operations for efficiency.
