Bottom Line Equipment, LLC in Texas is seeking a Parts Manager to oversee the Parts Department, expedite purchase orders, and liaise with suppliers to secure favorable terms. You will manage inventory levels, respond to escalated inquiries, and coordinate with department managers to forecast material needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (preferred) and at least five years of parts management experience.

• Working knowledge Quality concepts, practices and procedures required

Responsabilités

• Expedite and follow up on purchase orders.
• Resolves billing and shipping problems and provide information to suppliers.
• Procurement of materials, components, supplies & equipment at favorable cost consistent with schedule and specifications.
• Liaise with various department managers to anticipate demand for goods and materials.
• Oversee annual physical inventories of all parts and related equipment.
• Assess critical inventory lists, establish optimal inventory levels, and replenish inventory in a timely manner.
• Negotiate terms for major purchases within established limits of authority.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to ensure superior service.
• Evaluate supplier bids, quotes, tenders, and proposals of all equipment, parts, and tools for assigned BLE location.
• Respond to escalated inquiries; review and authorize purchasing recommendations of others.
• Develops and maintains effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested.
