Job summary

Tunkhannock Auto Mart Inc is seeking a highly organized Parts Manager to lead our parts department, optimize inventory, and deliver excellent service to internal and external customers. You’ll oversee order fulfillment, pricing quotes, and stock accuracy, while coaching staff to meet daily goals.

Ideal candidates have an automotive parts background, strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Parts Manager.
• Familiarity with automotive parts and accessories.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Problem solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with customer on parts status.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
• Answer calls, provide price quotes and information.
• Provide high level service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Maintain weekly bin checks to ensure stock accuracy.
• Order out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and emergency order if necessary.
• Ensure internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Other duties as assigned.
