Job summary

The Larson Group Peterbilt is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to supervise the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department. This safety-sensitive role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and cross-department coordination to meet company goals.

You will train staff, manage outside sales coordination, and ensure accurate core handling and warranty support while maintaining ISO standards and ongoing customer development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in a related field is required.
• Sales and customer service driven.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and hold accountable all Parts Department employees.
• Train and develop Parts Department employees, with 90%+ training level goal.
• Set budgets and goals for the Parts Department.
• Initiate plans and programs to meet company goals and objectives.
• Coordinate outside sales with Outside Parts, including bi-weekly meetings with Outside Sales and Customer Calls.
• Develop plans to maintain existing customers and acquire new ones.
• Merchandise parts inventory to meet sales and profit.
• Develop new advertising media and ensure methods are relevant.
• Coordinate with other Department Managers when needed.
• Maintain accurate records and administer cores and core returns.
• Assist warranty Administrator in warranty claims and returns.
• Review daily operations for accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain ISO standards and procedures.
