Job summary

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. in Sioux City, IA is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead our Sioux City parts department, representing Volvo Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment.

The role combines team leadership, inventory oversight, and business development to deliver reliable service to customers and technicians. You will direct daily parts operations, coach the team, maintain inventory accuracy, manage vendor relationships, and drive department performance to grow revenue

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in parts management, inventory control, or a related field; truck or heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and sound business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily parts operations, including purchasing, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
• Coach and develop employees, establish priorities, and hold the team accountable for results.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and availability while controlling excess stock and costs.
• Coordinate with service and sales personnel to meet customer needs and support timely repairs.
• Manage vendor relationships, including pricing, purchasing terms, and delivery expectations.
• Evaluate department sales, expenses, and inventory performance to identify improvements and grow revenue.
