Pohanka Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Parts Manager to lead our parts department in a fast-paced, modern facility. You will drive profitability, optimize inventory, supervise staff, and coordinate with service to ensure timely parts availability for all repairs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor parts counter staff; set schedules and enforce attendance.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory control, and department expenses.
• Coordinate with Service Manager to ensure timely stocking of parts for repairs.
• Forecast department goals; manage retail and wholesale operations and pricing.
• Handle wholesale/retail client relations and OEM warranty processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Department Leadership: Hire, train, motivate, and mentor all parts counter associates and department staff. Establish schedules and enforce attendance policies.
• Inventory & Purchasing: Oversee purchasing procedures, inventory control, and tracking of department expenses. Ensure incoming stock is placed accurately and inventory remains balanced.
• Service Integration: Partner closely with the Service Manager to ensure parts are stocked or ordered promptly for all scheduled repairs.
• Business Operations: Forecast department goals, manage retail and wholesale operations, set accurate pricing, and maintain up-to-date computer systems.
• Customer & Vendor Relations: Handle wholesale and retail client relations, resolve customer complaints professionally, and manage OEM warranty, policy, and return procedures.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety regulations, carry out federal/state/local legal compliance, and champion Pohanka's core values.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of automotive parts management experience preferred.
• Technical & Professional: Excellent customer service skills, strong organization, detail orientation, and a professional appearance.
• Requirements: Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
