Job summary

Williams Auto Group is seeking a Parts Manager to lead the daily operations of the Parts Department in Elmira, NY. You will oversee inventory, coordinate with Service and technicians, and drive customer satisfaction while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to analyze reports, inventory trends, and department performance.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Automotive Parts Department
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee parts ordering processes
  • Monitor department productivity, profitability, and operational goals
  • Lead, train, and support Parts Department staff
  • Work closely with the Service Department and automotive technicians to ensure timely parts availability
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers, and manufacturer representatives
  • Utilize dealership software and inventory systems for daily operations and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies
  • Assist with budgeting, reporting, and department forecasting
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe automotive work environment
  • Participate in management meetings and ongoing automotive training programs
  • Support overall dealership operations and complete additional duties as assigned
