Job summary

Camping World is seeking a parts specialist to advise technicians and customers, locate hard-to-find parts, and manage parts stock. The role involves placing orders, receiving shipments, and ensuring equipment is weather-protected.

The candidate should have high school education, 1–3 years’ experience in RV/Auto/Marine parts, strong communication, and basic computer skills, with a valid driver’s license and forklift credentials preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of parts experience in RV/Auto/Marine is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of shop activities, methods and policies.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Basic computer skills and valid driver’s license required.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred or obtainable.
  • Standing, lifting up to 25 lbs and moving up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation to service technicians and customers.
  • Research hard-to-find parts and maintain stock levels.
  • Place and track parts orders; receive shipments and stock parts.
  • Keep units and equipment secure from weather.
  • Demonstrate operation of newly installed equipment.
  • Perform related troubleshooting tasks as skilled.
  • Maintain a safe work area for customers and coworkers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do
  • Provides consultation to service technicians and customers
  • Researches hard to find parts Maintains appropriate levels of parts kept in stock
  • Places and tracks parts orders Receives shipments and stocks parts
  • Keeps units and equipment secure from weather
  • Keeps supervisor apprised of work progress
  • Demonstrates operation of newly installed equipment
  • Performs related troubleshooting tasks based on skill level
  • Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned
What You’ll Need To Have For The Role
  • High school education or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of parts experience in RV, Auto or Marine industry a plus
  • Working knowledge of activities, methods, procedures and policies of the shop
  • Comprehensive product knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred or ability to be certified required
  • May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
  • Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
General Compensation Disclosure

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the total annual compensation range (base pay + variable compensation earned) is $50,000 - $80,000 or more. This is a variable pay role with uncapped variable pay.
