JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Parts Manager to join our team! The right candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts management and customer service. The day-to-day duties of this role include leading the parts department, managing the parts inventory, and effectively training and supervising all parts counter associates.

Responsibilities
- Lead the parts department, retail and wholesale customers
- Achieve objectives through proper purchasing procedures and inventory control
- Handle the parts inventory and track all expenses
- Work with the Service Manager to ensure parts are in-stock or ordered promptly for scheduled repairs
- Train and supervise all parts counter associates to meet department and company goals; handle stock order procedures
- Handle and resolve customer complaints courteously and professionally
- Stay updated on manufacturer warranty, policy, and return procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting operations
- Monitor employee work schedules and enforce attendance, reporting, and tardiness policies
- Set and strive to meet department goals and objectives
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff
- Ensure incoming inventory is stocked correctly
- Maintain a stabilized inventory aligned with departmental needs
- Price parts and accessories accurately using proper sources and keep the system updated
- Implement and follow safety requirements
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the Company’s Values in all interactions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of related experience in automotive parts management preferred
- 2 years of sales experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
