Job summary

NTA Precision Axle Manufacturing in Carol Stream, IL, is hiring a Parts Loader to assist in moving components through production with emphasis on safety and quality. You will perform line loading, visual inspections, sorting, and transportation of heavy chip bins on roller systems.

The role requires occasional lifting of 7-10 lb parts, adherence to safety policies, and routine pallet jack operation. Starting wage is $17.00/hour with $2.00 and $3.00 per hour second and third shift differentials,

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English to successfully complete required safety training.
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to maintain focus on tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to organize tasks in a logical sequence and follow procedures.
• Ability to perform frequent material handling activities including pushing, pulling, lifting, and moving heavy bins and materials.

Responsibilities

• Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to transport materials.
• Supply components to hoppers, indexing poles, and conveyors as needed.
• Load parts from baskets onto machine conveyors.
• Lift and move parts weighing 7-10 lbs.
• Visually inspect components and sort/disassemble defects.
