Job summary

Bertrandt AG is seeking a Parts Lead Technician to own global availability and distribution of engineering spare parts across multiple build sites, test locations, and proving grounds. You will manage a portfolio of 4,000+ part numbers, including revisions, maturity, availability, traceability, allocation, and stock levels.

The role interfaces with Engineering, V&V, Prototype Builds, Fleet Operations, Procurement, suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners, while establishing scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering parts handling, prototype logistics, or material management.
• Proven experience managing multi-thousand-part portfolios.
• Experience coordinating global parts distribution and logistics activities.
• Strong knowledge of automotive prototype, validation, and pre-series processes.
• Experience with ERP and PLM systems such as SAP, Teamcenter, or Windchill.
• EV or advanced vehicle programs experience preferred.
• Prototype build or V&V experience preferred.

Pay Range: $35 to $45 hourly.

Manage a portfolio of 4,000+ part numbers, including revisions, maturity, availability, traceability, allocation, inventory accuracy, stock levels, urgent shipments, build and test readiness, ERP/PLM data, shortage and risk reporting, and cross-functional issue resolution. Serve as the central interface for Engineering, V&V, Prototype Builds, Fleet Operations, Procurement, suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners, while establishing scalable processes for prototype and pre-series operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in engineering parts handling, prototype logistics, or material management
• Proven experience managing multi-thousand-part portfolios
• Experience coordinating global parts distribution and logistics activities
• Strong knowledge of automotive prototype, validation, and pre-series processes
