Job summary

Transport Refrigeration, Inc. is seeking a Parts Lead to oversee daily parts department operations in our Rockford, IL facility. The role focuses on accurate inventory, parts ordering, and responsive service to technicians and customers.

This position operates Monday–Friday with a day shift and no weekend work. Responsibilities include keeping inventory organized, assisting at the counter and by phone, processing warranty parts, COD transactions, and supporting shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in parts, logistics, warehouse, or inventory control preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize parts inventory in a clean, safe department.
• Process incoming stock and manage inventory levels using the MAS system.
• Assist customers at the parts counter and by phone with parts orders.
• Pick, distribute, and record parts for technician service orders.
• Process warranty parts for manufacturer reimbursement.
• Handle COD transactions and cashier responsibilities.
• Load and unload trailers using a forklift and deliver parts.
• Participate in annual physical inventory and cycle counts.
