Job summary

Ontivity seeks a detail-oriented Parts & Service Support Technician to manage inventory, source materials, and process parts orders. You will support field operations across service lines including power generation and telecom, ensuring technicians have the right parts to complete projects efficiently.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, maintaining stock, coordinating with vendors, and performing regular cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Ability to read and interpret parts manuals and vendor documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper stocking of parts, tools, and equipment.
• Process parts requests and issue materials to technicians and project teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source parts and equipment.
• Track inventory usage and maintain accurate inventory records within company systems.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory audits.
• Prepare, package, and ship parts and equipment to job sites as required.
• Monitor reorder points and submit purchasing requests to maintain inventory availability.
• Ensure warehouse and storage areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with fleet, tool, and equipment tracking programs.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as authorized.
• Support emergency parts procurement and after-hours operational needs when required.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, and inventory transactions accurately and timely.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
