Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support maintenance and production by identifying parts, issuing materials, and using multiple computer systems to locate work orders and related information.

The role requires basic mechanical/electrical parts knowledge, 1 year inventory experience, strong English reading/writing, and the ability to lift heavy objects. You will coordinate with internal departments and perform audits to ensure accurate stock control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year of Inventory experience preferred.
• Basic understanding Mechanical and/or Electrical parts knowledge.
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift heavy objects and/or machine parts.
• Ability to work with scanning equipment and online software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments to accurately assess customer needs and establish parts priority.
• Assist with the unloading, receiving, and verification of materials and parts.
• Accurately identify parts and coordinate with appropriate personnel or departments for material pickup and distribution.
• Properly store and organize materials in designated inventory locations.
• Research historical inventory movements, locations, and transfers to determine root causes of discrepancies or issues.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of corrective actions related to inventory control.
• Conduct inventory audits at defined intervals to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the stock management system.
• Provide support to other parts personnel and on-campus warehouse locations to ensure efficient service to internal customers.
