Job summary

Shields Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Parts Clerk for its Moorestown, NJ location, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The role involves preparing requisitions, issuing POs, tracking inventory, quotes, and occasional forklift training. A valid driver’s license and background screening are required. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, attention to detail, legible handwriting, and at least 2 years of parts clerk experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Legible handwriting is essential.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Warehouse and inventory experience is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a parts clerk.
• Proficient in Excel and Windows.
• Able to work occasional overtime.
• Extensive background screening including physical, drug and criminal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts requisitions (daily).
• Issue purchase orders and track in-house inventory (backup).
• Request quotes from vendors (backup).
• Track parts received and issued.
• Shipping and receiving.
• General housekeeping in parts area.
• Occasionally pick up and deliver parts.
• Be trained on forklift in-house.
