Job summary

Kurita Europe GmbH in New York is seeking an Inventory Specialist for the Microelectronics Production team. You will oversee receiving, staging, storage and tracking of parts used to build water filtration equipment, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely inventory.

Responsibilities include monitoring upcoming deliveries, receiving parts, maintaining a parts storage and tracking system, and leading inventory-related activities for the builds while ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in a closely related field or a combination of education and experience.
• 2 years working in a related warehouse or inventory role.
• Knowledge of inventory best practices and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor schedule and provide updates of upcoming parts deliveries.
• Receive and record incoming parts.
• Implement and maintain a parts storage and tracking system.
• Implement and maintain a parts staging system for upcoming equipment builds.
• Investigate late or missing parts.
• Implement inventory process improvements.
• Adhere to all safety procedures with a goal of zero accidents.
• Adhere to all quality procedures with a goal of zero nonconformances.
• Provide leadership to other team members for all inventory related activities.
