Job summary

Leonard's Express is hiring a dependable Parts & Service Assistant to support the Parts Manager and Service Writer. This role focuses on inventory control, ensuring parts are received, tracked, stocked, and recorded, while assisting with repair order documentation and service writing during peak times.

The position is located in Nampa, Idaho, with a Thursday–Monday eight-hour shift. Ideal candidates will have inventory experience, strong data-entry skills, and familiarity with Excel in a fleet

Qualifications

• Experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, or office support roles.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to work the Thursday through Monday shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming parts shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Process repair orders and provide service writing support during peak periods.
• Enter parts receipts, invoices, and repair order data accurately and timely.
• Communicate repair and parts status between technicians, vendors, dispatch, and shop personnel.
