Job summary

Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) is seeking a Parts and Inventory Control Associate to support the Material Control Parts Counter, including receiving, storing, researching, issuing, and recording parts. The role requires attention to detail, safe driving, and the ability to work across multiple shifts in a 24/7 operation.

The position reports to the Supervisor of Inventory Control and works closely with internal customers to ensure accurate parts availability and timely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience may substitute.
• Valid Florida driver's license and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue materials in a high-density warehouse setting.
• Assist Shipping/Receiving by counting, labeling, locating, and recording items.
• Research parts availability and provide cost-effective alternatives.
• Maintain inventory records, prepare reports, and perform physical counts.
• Operate material handling equipment and transfer parts between facilities.
