Job summary

PSTC is seeking a Parts Department Supervisor to meet customer parts requirements via counter service and phone sales. You will train and develop department staff while maintaining policies that ensure top-notch customer relations.

You will oversee department workflow including warehouse, will-call, and delivery processes, ensuring presentable staff and compliant uniform policies, and you will help resolve customer complaints.

• Ensures approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and maintains the policies and practices which foster positive customer relations.
• Maintains communication with Parts Management sharing positive and negative feedback.
• Assists in keeping customer-facing areas clean and display shelves stocked.
• Ensure customer-facing employees are presentable and in compliance with PSTC uniform policies.
• Assist with resolving customer complaints.

Education and Experience

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

Non-supervisory employees with possibly lead and supervisor/foreman personnel

Required Skills/ Abilities:

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations,
• The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• The ability to squat, bend or stoop on a regular basis
