Overview

Responsibilities:

• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Coordinates last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient signatures on each delivery.
• Unloads the truck each night. Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Performs basic maintenance of the truck, including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Maintains the professional appearance of the parts department.
• Checks in all stock orders upon receipt.
• Notifies the parts manager of any damaged or missing parts from orders.
• Receives in all special order parts.
• Maintains a special order file and notifies customers upon receipt of their parts.
• Maintains backorder files.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s license in your state and a good driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
