Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group is seeking a Parts Driver. The role involves front-line customer interaction to ensure safe and efficient delivery of parts to customers and pickups from vendors.

You will load delivery vehicles, verify orders, perform safety checks, and represent the company at customer locations with professional appearance and communication. The position requires a valid driver's license, ability to use a computer and calculator, forklift operation, and adherence to safety and traffic

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record meeting Pearson Peterbilt Group's criteria.
• Commercial Driver Medical Certification required.
• Ability to use computer and calculator.
• Ability to drive and operate a forklift safely.
• Professional personal appearance and dress.

Responsibilities

• Load parts delivery vehicles.
• Check each load to ensure 100% complete and accurate order fulfillment.
• Perform safety checks of delivery vehicles.
• Obey traffic laws and drive defensively.
• Represent Pearson Peterbilt Group at customer locations in appearance, attitude and communication.
• Maintain accurate records with signatures on delivery paperwork and returns paperwork (RGM's).
• Collect COD checks and credit card payments, with phone in verification.
