Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group is seeking a Parts Driver to ensure safe, on-time delivery of parts to customers and to pick up from vendors. You will load delivery vehicles, verify orders, and perform vehicle safety checks while upholding company standards.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to use computer systems, and strong communication with customers and vendors. A forklift may be required, and professional appearance is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record which meets Pearson Peterbilt Group's criteria.
• Commercial Driver Medical Certification is required.
• Ability to use computer and calculator.
• Will be trained on parts department's computer inventory system.
• Ability to drive and operate a forklift safely.
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts.
• Professional personal appearance and dress.

Responsibilities

• Loading parts delivery vehicles
• Checking each load to make sure 100% complete and accurate order fulfillment
• Safety checks of delivery vehicles
• Obeying all traffic laws and driving defensively
• Professionally representing Pearson Peterbilt Group at customer locations in appearance, attitude and communication
• Accurate record keeping through signatures on delivery paperwork, returned goods paperwork (RGM's), etc.
• Collection of COD checks and credit card payments, with phone in verification
