Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group in Westborough, MA is seeking an Automotive Parts Driver to select, verify and deliver parts to customers and other dealerships within the local market. You will assist customers and colleagues in a friendly, efficient manner.

The role requires picking up and delivering parts, checking invoices against purchase orders, and maintaining an orderly delivery schedule. Applicants must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; pre-employment

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pre-employment background and drug screening required.
• Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors.
• Verify parts against invoices and ensure invoice matches purchase orders for each pick-up.
• Assist all customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Coordinate last-minute pickups or deliveries with the parts manager, wholesale rep, or shipping/receiving clerk.
• Maintain a prompt, efficient flow of paperwork and delivery schedule.

The Parts Driver is responsiblefor selecting, verifying and delivering parts to customers and/or other dealerships in the general prescribed market area of the local parts departments.

• Assist all customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
• Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries
• Pick up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors
• Pulls and fills orders from stock, as directed
• Ensure that parts to be delivered matches invoice, verify that invoice matches PO (purchase order) for each pick-up
• Secure and unload parts truck each night
• Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts
• Maintain a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork and delivery schedule
• Must be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds
• Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent experience is a plus but not required
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
