Job summary

Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington is seeking an Automotive Parts Driver to support customers by delivering parts and coordinating orders with the parts department. The role emphasizes reliability, customer-focused service, and teamwork within a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities include picking, verifying, and delivering parts to customers and other dealerships, ensuring invoices match purchase orders, and maintaining efficient delivery schedules while handling lifting

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Experience with automotive parts is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Coordinate last-minute pick-ups or deliveries with the parts manager and other staff.
• Pick up and deliver parts to customers, satellite stores, and wholesale accounts.

• Secure and unload parts truck each night.
• Support stocking and posting of orders to expedite service.

Automotive Parts Driver
$20.00 - $22.00 per Hour + Weekly Pay + Comprehensive Benefits

(Wage is comprised of base salary and % of department profit to be determined as part of pay plan). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, ect.

The Parts Driver is responsiblefor selecting, verifying and delivering parts to customers and/or other dealerships in the general prescribed market area of the local parts departments.

• Assist all customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
• Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries
• Pick up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors
• Pulls and fills orders from stock, as directed
• Ensure that parts to be delivered matches invoice, verify that invoice matches PO (purchase order) for each pick-up
• Secure and unload parts truck each night
• Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts
• Maintain a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork and delivery schedule
• Must be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds
• Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent experience is a plus but not required
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
