Job summary

AutoNation in Texas seeks a Wholesale Parts Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership. You will load the truck safely, organize delivery schedules, and maintain a clean, operable vehicle while updating delivery logs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, basic computer and calculator skills, and strong oral and written communication with customers and vendors.

• Ability to use computer and calculator.
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other contacts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver & pick up parts as requested by Parts Manager.
• Load truck to prevent damage to sheet metal and fragile parts.
• Organize schedule of deliveries to maximize efficiency and post schedule for contact.
• Keep truck clean and in good running condition; report malfunctions to Parts Manager.
• Assist in keeping parts department and parts area clean.
• Update delivery log after each delivery.
• Call the shipping department from each pickup/delivery stop.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
