Job summary

TransChicago Truck Group is hiring a Parts Driver to deliver parts to customers and pick up parts from suppliers. This is the 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, based in Gary, Indiana. The role requires driving a commercial vehicle and coordinating deliveries with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include logging deliveries, verifying invoices, unloading the vehicle nightly, and assisting in stocking and warehouse tasks as needed. Prior driving experience is required.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• 1+ year industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Assist with pulling customer orders when requested.
• Verify invoices match purchase orders for each pick-up.
• Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups; obtain recipient signatures.
• Unload truck nightly; turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help stock and post orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and retail accounts.
• Provide occasional assistance in the warehouse as needed.

We're looking for a Parts Driver who will be responsible for delivering parts to customers and picking up parts from suppliers for the dealership. This role is on the 1st Shift, M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts to customers, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.
• Check before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
• Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Request recipient's signature on each delivery entry.
• Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and retail accounts.
• Provide occasional assistance in the warehouse as needed.

Education and/or Required Experience:

• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• One plus years industry experience a plus.
