Jim Burke Ford Lincoln is seeking an Assistant Parts Dispatcher in Bakersfield, CA to coordinate routes for our parts drivers and support the parts department with stock and deliveries. The role includes training new drivers and enforcing safety policies, along with vehicle safety inspections.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver’s license with a clean record, strong computer and customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Unrestricted driver’s license with clean driving record for last three years
• Strong computer skills and customer service abilities
• Excellent communication and ability to lead drivers
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates values in every aspect of the job
• Coordinates routes for parts drivers
• Pulls parts for delivery
• Follows safety policies and procedures
• Keeps vehicles clean and performs routine maintenance tasks
• Delivers parts to designated accounts
• Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, wholesale accounts and vendors
• Performs other duties as assigned
