Job summary

Bailey Equipment and Intralogistics in Cumberland Heights, TN is seeking an experienced Parts Department Manager to oversee daily performance, hire and train staff, and ensure excellent customer service. You will manage inventory, billing, and pricing while maintaining safety and a positive team environment.

Responsibilities include supervising stock procedures, coordinating with dispatchers, handling phone orders, and conducting mid-year and annual performance reviews.

Qualifications

• High school education is the minimum requirement.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
• Strong customer service skills and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day performance of parts employees.
• Hire, train, motivate and monitor department staff.
• Create a safe, positive work environment.
• Oversee parts payment collection and billing.
• Serve as parts representative to walk-in customers.
• Assist locating parts when stock is out.
• Supervise stock order procedures.
• Maintain a balanced inventory.
• Keep computer system and pricing up to date.
• Enforce safety requirements.
• Forecast goals for the parts department.
• Keep up with parts and service bulletins.
• Handle department finances and interactions with other departments.
• Perform mid-year and annual performance evaluation reviews.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to transfer stock between branches.
• Take phone orders from customers.
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
• Uniform is required and provided by company.
