Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and handle COD collections and returns. You will drive safely, manage hand-held devices, and keep vehicles and monies secure while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, updating mileage, balancing cash, assisting with merchandising and stock, and coordinating with store management to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company driving record standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Utilize delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep vehicles clean and maintained.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and cash at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate issues to store management and report vehicle maintenance needs.
• Ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are secured after shifts.
• Clock in/out per company policy and assist with cashier duties or merchandising as needed.
• Support general stocking, stock organization, and other duties as assigned.
