O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers in a safe, efficient manner. The role includes COD collections, returns processing, and daily vehicle maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using handheld devices, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, handheld devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and the vehicle is secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy; perform other duties as assigned (stocking, merchandising, etc.).
• May assist customers as a cashier and help with merchandising when business dictates.
