Job summary

Friendsofkerhonkson is seeking a dependable delivery driver to service pro customers, pick up returns, and promote current sales and loyalty programs. You will build relationships with main customers, assist in upselling parts, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

The role requires safe driving, clear communication, and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends. Prior automotive parts experience is preferred; a valid license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Basic math skills for transactions and measurements.
• Experience in automotive parts or delivery roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels (floors, bathrooms, etc.).
• Stock merchandise and manage back stock and cycle counts.
• Understand product inventory and assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to identify needs and provide solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
