Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and handle COD collections and returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with a range of premiums tied to schedule, season, or work performed.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, device utilization for deliveries, and daily inspections. The role may include cashier duties and general merchandising when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and secure, perform inspections, and secure monies.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel is topped up and vehicles are secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per policy; assist with other duties as needed (stocking, merchandising, etc).
• May assist customers as a cashier or with merchandising when business requires.
