Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Indiana is seeking a Delivery Specialist responsible for operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. You will also collect money on COD deliveries, pick up customer returns, and assist with merchandising and customer service as needed.

The role requires strong communication, quick adaptation to changing delivery situations, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
• Use fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage.
• Maintain vehicles, perform daily inspections, and secure vehicles and assets.
• Collect COD payments and handle money securely.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate issues to store management and coordinate with customers.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to management.
• Clock in/out according to policy and assist with stocking or merchandising as needed.
• Assist customers as cashier or in sales/merchandising when required.
