Key duties include processing deliveries with handheld devices, maintaining daily vehicle inspections, keeping assets secure, and communicating any customer needs to management. The position may involve cashier or merchandising tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicles are secured at day’s end.
• Clock in/out per company policy; perform additional duties including stocking, merchandising, and errands.
• May assist customers as a cashier or with merchandising when needed.
