Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. You will also handle COD deliveries and collect customer returns, ensuring secure handling of funds and equipment.

You will use fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, log mileage, and perform daily inspections. Support customer service, merchandising, and stocking as needed, in a hands-on, fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company policy requirements.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and driving eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries and capture signatures.
• Keep vehicles clean and perform daily inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store management.
• Clock in/out according to policy.
• Assist customers and perform merchandising tasks as needed.
