Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers safely and efficiently. The role includes COD collections, returning customer items, and supporting store operations with varying duties.

Ideal candidates may be bilingual and will adhere to vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and secure handling of monies and keys. You will clock in/out as per policy and may assist with cashier and merchandising tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Utilize delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel is topped and vehicle secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per policy and perform other duties including stocking and merchandising as assigned.
• Assist customers as needed, act as cashier, and support merchandising tasks when business requires.
