Job summary

Kenny Kent Chevy in Evansville, IN is seeking a Parts Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership on a part-time schedule.

The role requires a valid driver's license, basic math, the ability to read safety rules, and good communication with customers and vendors; lifting up to 75 pounds may be required. This position supports the Parts department and reports to the Parts Manager.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent; 0–3 months related experience acceptable.
• Current, valid driver’s license; satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write simple reports; communicate with customers, employees and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and equipment to customers and vendors.
• Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors as coordinated with Parts Manager and others.
• Maintain a delivery log and obtain recipient’s signature.
• Unload truck nightly and handle paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Keep parts delivery vehicle clean and in good working order.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
