Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to deliver parts to customers and pick up parts from suppliers. The role includes coordinating with the parts manager and maintaining delivery logs and signatures.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret measurements.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Checks with the parts manager before leaving to coordinate pickups or deliveries.
• Verify payments received against invoices for each delivery.
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups, and obtain recipient signatures.
• Loads vehicle with appropriate parts for deliveries.
• Maintains the truck including fuel, oil, cleanliness, and required inspections.
• Alerts parts manager if trucks need major repairs or maintenance.
• Supports stock orders to expedite delivery.
