Job summary

MANCON is seeking a Delivery Driver in Salem, VA to address customer needs, pick up and deliver parts for VDOT sites, and assist with inventory control. This is an hourly position. The compensation range is $13.00 to $19.08 per hour, with placement based on relevant experience and certifications.

Responsibilities include delivering parts, providing quality customer service, reviewing requisitions, operating a forklift, and maintaining inventory accuracy in the warehouse and at vendor locations.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with two years driving experience.
• 24-hour availability during emergency and/or critical operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license (MANCON will provide training after hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following.
• Meet and greet customers.
• Review supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities).
• Answer questions regarding availability of parts.
• Operate a forklift.
• Review, familiarize with and adhere to Product Group Catalog.
• Review, familiarize with, and adhere to Policy and Procedures Manual.
• Review, familiarize with, and adhere to MANCON’s SOPs and Safety Manual.
• Review invoices at vendor location to ensure pricing and quantities.
• Return products to MANCON location in a timely fashion.
• Assist in generating invoices for customer requisitions.
