Job summary

Peterson Trucks, Inc. in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to safely transport parts to customers and support daily warehouse and delivery operations. You will ensure accurate deliveries, log routes, and assist customers during the delivery process.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a year of driving experience, and 3 months of customer service experience, with a pay range of $21.75–$25.00 per hour. A drug screen and background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive company delivery vans, pickup trucks, and flatbed trucks in a safe manner to deliver parts to customers' place of business.
• Load delivery vehicles with parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure all parts to be delivered are loaded into delivery vehicle prior to beginning route.
• Use last-mile logistics system to set delivery routes and record completed deliveries.
• Record pickup and delivery transactions on customer receipt and obtain customer signature.
• Assist customers with unloading delivered parts in accordance with company policies and customer agreements.
• Collect money from customers and make change as needed.
• Listen to and relay service complaints to supervisor.
• Collect empty containers, rejected merchandise, unsold merchandise, and core parts.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on delivery vehicles including lights and fluid levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts warehouse by performing housekeeping duties as directed.
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.

Job Description

Peterson Trucks has the immediate need for a Parts Delivery Driver based at our Santa Rosa, CA location.

The Parts Delivery Driver provides safe and efficient transportation of parts to customers and supports daily warehouse and delivery operations. This role ensures accurate deliveries, maintains delivery records, assists customers during the delivery process, and helps maintain vehicle and warehouse readiness.
