Job Description

As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for prompt delivery of truck parts from our facility to customers throughout the area using a small pick-up truck or box truck. You will also be trained in all other areas of the parts department. Advancement opportunities are available for dependable and motivated employees!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Knowledge of the local area
• Proper and professional greeting upon arrival
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Represent the company professionally
• Communicate policies regarding purchases, returns, credit terms, etc.
• Handle conflict, resolve problems, and make effective decisions
• Safely load, secure, unload, and stage materials
• Deal with unexpected circumstances proficiently
• Basic vehicle knowledge and communicate safety concerns
• Basic computer skills
• Attend work as scheduled and be punctual
• Material handling during stocking and delivery
• Require lift truck certification and basic warehousing knowledge
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Work Environment & Physical Abilities

Activities require full body motion, handling, lifting, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. May require standing, bending, or stooping for prolonged periods. Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs., frequently 50 lbs. or more. Driving constitutes 60% of the role. Requires corrected vision and hearing, ability to work under stress or irregular hours, and understanding vague instructions.

Requirements
