Job summary

Stowers Machinery Corporation is seeking a Parts Department Driver to transport parts between Knoxville and Chattanooga, ensuring accurate deliveries and vehicle safety. You will load/unload stock, maintain logs, and uphold safety and customer service standards on a tight schedule.

The role requires 3+ years of driving experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid CDL Class B; forklift certification is a plus. Shift runs 9:00am-6:00pm with potential overtime. Based in Knoxville, TN.

Description

The Parts Department Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of parts between Stowers Machinery locations In Knoxville and Chattanooga. This role supports the efficiency of the Parts Department by ensuring accurate deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety, and providing excellent customer service. This position is responsible for unloading and loading stock.

9:00am-6:00pm

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Ability to operate delivery vehicles, including manual transmission.
• Basic understanding of warehousing and inventory procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and customer service abilities.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Preferred Qualification(s):

• Valid CDL (Class B or higher).
• Box truck driving experience
• Forklift certification.
• Experience with logistics or parts delivery in a machinery or automotive environment.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.
