Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company\'s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver\'s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and conducting daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Other duties as assigned including customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands.
• May assist customers as cashier and help with merchandising when business dictates.
